Tamoxifen

Tamoxifen is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that acts as an estrogen receptor antagonist in some tissues, including the hypothalamus and pituitary. By blocking estrogen's negative feedback signal at these sites, tamoxifen is designed to increase the pituitary's release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This increase in gonadotropin signaling is intended to stimulate the testes to resume or support natural testosterone production, making tamoxifen a tool physicians may use for post-cycle hormone support or targeted estrogen receptor management.
